Learning Corner: Stamping Postcards

You will need:

• Postcards PDF

• Scissors to cut out the Postcards

• Large envelope

• Ink Stamps

 

The Activity:

Stamp the two matching letters on the postcard and stamp or count out the numbers and stamp the two matching numbers.

 

Goals:

Children work on identifying letters and on counting skills.

Are you ready to learn?

What you need to do:

Step 1: To prepare this activity, cut out the postcards and place them in a large envelope
Step 2: Pick out one postcard, name the upper case letter
Step 3: Stamp both the envelope and the matching letter
Step 4: Do the same with the numbers envelope. Pick out a postcard and look for the stamp that has the matching number of dots.
Step 5: Now stamp both with your ink stamp
