Learning Corner: Garden Builder

The Activity:

Learn your letters by building a garden! In this activity, children are asked to match uppercase letters and work on their sounds. Once they are able to do that, then they will match lowercase letters with uppercase letters.

Goals:

This garden activity works on recognizing letters. For older children we can use to match letters to sounds or to match upper and lower case letters to each other.

Are you ready to learn?

What you need to do:

Step 1: Pick a letter from one of the circles
Step 2: Match it to a flower with the same letter
Step 3: Find the match to the sound of a letter.
