• Clothespins with letters written on each clothespin
Children first cut out kites. They also write lower case letters on each of the clothespins. They then practice matching upper and lower case letters by clipping the lower case paper clip to the upper case letter on the kite.
This activity works on finger strength with clothespins and practices upper and lower case letter matching.
To prepare this activity:
Cut out each kite and attach a small piece of string or ribbon at one end.
Use a Sharpie to write lower case letters on clothespins.
To complete this activity:
Place all kites on the table
Pick up one clothespin and look for the matching kite.
It’s always so fun to keep track of how much we have accomplished! Make sure to print out the Little Learner’s Chart and check off each class you complete!
