Fine Motor: Pineapple Lacing

You will need:

Printout of pineapple on card stock paper

• Hole puncher

• Markers

• String

• Tape

  

The Activity:

Children color a pineapple and add string by lacing to make a pattern on the pineapple.

 

Goals:

This is a great eye hand coordination activity as well as motor planning and fine motor skill practice through lacing.

Are you ready to learn?

What you need to do:

Step 1: Begin by coloring the pineapple.
Step 2: Make holes using a hole puncher on the pineapple
Step 3: Use a string, attach a piece of tape at the end to make it easier to lace.
Step 4: Start lacing the pineapple to create a grid
