Children lace hot dogs with string to add mustard or ketchup according to the correct number of holes on the hot dog.
This is a lacing activity that also works on number/counting skills.
To prepare this activity print out the hot dogs on card stock paper and use a hole puncher to make holes in the designated spots marked in white. Also cut out each condiment card.
Fill a red squirt bottle with red string and a yellow bottle with yellow string.
To play:
Pick out a number card, find the hot dog with the matching number of holes. Lace that card with the string from the matching condiment bottle!
It’s always so fun to keep track of how much we have accomplished! Make sure to print out the Little Learner’s Chart and check off each class you complete!
