• Flowers Template PDF or flowers from dollar store
• Tape
• Popsicle sticks
• Mini elastics
• Sharpie or number stickers
• Pencil
Children count out the correct number of elastics to place around each flower stem according to the number written on each stem.
This is a great finger strengthening activity in combination with counting skills.
To prepare this activity. Stick flowers to the top of popsicle sticks. Then write numbers on each popsicle stick.
Step 1: Pick up one flower and identify the number
Step 2: place that Many elastics around the popsicle stick
Step 3: Practice writing that number on your flower paper.
